The PRE-School Proficiency Programme is an ideal way for younger children to develop the three fundamental building blocks of movement, Action, Balance and Co-ordination.
Suitable for children from 3 years of age, the Pre-School Proficiency Awards focuses on the development of physical, literacy and movement skills through a range of 40 different activities. The scheme introduces children to physical activity in a fun yet structured environment so that they can safely learn and experiment action, balance and co-ordination activities.
The programme is suitable for both girls and boys and is developed to be delivered by British Gymnastics qualified coaches. As all of our coaches are British Gymnastics qualified, we will lead your little gymnasts through the activities. Successful completion of a range of these activities leads to the award of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Pre-School Proficiency Badge Levels.
Schools and Core Proficiency Awards
Little Tricks run sessions in nurseries as well as lunch time and after school clubs in local primary schools. We have also run the class PE lessons in schools.
In addition to the FUNdamentals and Pre-School Proficiency Awards, we also run the Core Proficiency Award Scheme. This scheme has been designed to be delivered on by British Gymnastics qualified coaches and has been developed for primary school age children. The Core Proficiency Awards Scheme is built around 10 different types of activity, such as strength, jumping, rolling and balancing, with 8 levels of attainment.
